Ancient Egyptian projects
Third class students enjoyed learning about the life of Ancient Egyptians this term. The children worked in groups on topics of their choice. Some of the groups made fantastic displays, designed PowerPoints, constructed pyramids from lego and performed an Ancient Egyptian Gods puppet show. To finish off the children's learning of the topic, Fifth class were invited to partake in fun Ancient Egyptian activities in the classroom. Some of these activities included designing masks, participating in a quiz and trying on jewellery.
Seó Faisin
The students had a lot of fun participating in their ‘Seo Faisin’ after learning about èadaí in Irish lessons last week. They all described their clothes in Irish after walking on the catwalk. They did great work using their new frásaí na Seachtaine.
Maths Walkway Challenge
The students completed the school walkway challenge outdoors to find all the digital and analogue clocks in the playground. The students really enjoyed being active while completing the masks tasks.
