On Thursday the 14th of September, 5th and 6th class students were invited to the Sligo Rugby Club to participate in a Tag Rugby event. 13 schools from all over Sligo attended the event and each school represented a different country. Carbury NS represented Georgia by dressing up in red and white clothes. The event began with a parade and the children marched around the pitch chanting their countries names and waving flags. The children were then divided into their teams and they played 3-4 games of Tag Rugby throughout the day. The weather was warm and sunny and everyone had a great day.
