The SuperValu Primary Schools Athletics Fest took place on Thursday, 29th September at the Atlantic Technological University Knocknarea Arena Athletics Track. Forty pupils from 4th, 5th and 6th Classes represented Carbury School at this event.
A big thank you to Sligo Sport and Recreation Partnership for organising such a great day for schools in County Sligo. Pupils from Carbury participated in the following events in the junior and senior categories: Girls 4x100m Relay, Boys 4x100m Relay, Mixed 4x100m Relay. A number of pupils from 6th Class took part in the Senior Girls 200m Individual, Senior Boys 200m Individual and Shotput. It was a most enjoyable event and we were very grateful that the sun shone for the whole day. Well done to the pupils for representing the school so well. They showed great team spirit and respect as they participated in the various events.
