Soccer Skills Coaching
Senior Classes have Soccer Coaching session as part of Active School Week
Soccer is a great form of exercise which helps children stay fit and healthy, improves teamwork and develops gross motor skills. It also boosts self-confidence and self-esteem and increases concentration and focus. As part of our Active School week we invited Paul and Éabha’s Dad John to share his expertise with soccer coaching sessions. Classes from 3rd to 6th benefitted from John’s years of football experience with skills and drills. Everyone was reminded that while fancy footwork may look impressive there is no substitute for good basic skills and technique. John’s drill helped pupils further develop the core skills of football and finished with five a side games. We are so grateful to John for volunteering his time – thank you.
