Shared Education

12th Feb 2025
Carbury School is excited to share that they are collaborating with the staff and pupils of S.N. Reált na Mara in Rosses Point on a Shared Education project. This project is funded by Léargas under the ASPIRE (Advancing Shared Partnerships through Inclusive Relationships in Education) PEACEPLUS Initiative. Pupils from 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Class will work together to deepen their knowledge of the Sligo area. They will explore significant local sites such as Sligo Gaol, The Model, the Famine Graveyard, the RNLI Station, and the Rosses Point area. These educational visits and related projects will enrich the children's learning in History and Geography while fostering meaningful connections with peers from another school.
