On Monday 4th March, Second Class were delighted to visit Sligo Oyster Experience at W.B.s Coffee shop. They met Aisling who explained how oysters grow from a tiny seed until they are ready to be harvested. This can take four years. Aisling also showed the class how to shuck oysters. The trip was rounded off by each pupil receiving a hot chocolate and cookie. Everyone really enjoyed their morning in W.B.s coffee shop.
