We have thoroughly enjoyed celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge in Rang a hAon.
We celebrated the Irish culture and language in many ways. We learned all about the story of St Patrick and all about Lá Fhéile Pádraig sa Ghaeilge!
We were ag canadh and ag damhsa everyday to The Haka Gaelach, An Dreolín and Ireland’s Call. We enjoyed listening to many songs from TG Lurgan as Ghaeilge and Ms Thomson taught us some céilí dancing in PE.
We carried out a torraíocht taisce hunt all around the school grounds and had a ‘Pop Up Gaeltacht’ in our classroom where we played many of our favourite games as Ghaeilge!
To end Seachtain na Gaeilge, we all rocked Éadaí Glasa for Lá Glas!
