We have been busy in 2nd class this month investigating materials. The first investigation we did was with dry ice. We explored the properties of dry ice and observed what happened to it when we added it to warm water.
Secondly, we investigated which materials were the best insulators. The children made their predictions and then carried out their investigations. We had great fun and learned lots!
