We would like to extend our thanks to Caroline, a volunteer for the RNLI, (Royal National Lifeboat Institution) who gave an insightful talk about the organisation’s role in saving lives at sea. Caroline highlighted the important roles of the volunteers who work together to provide 24/7 search and rescue services. Caroline also explained the meaning of the flags found along the coast. The talk ended with an important water safety message. We are looking forward to further water safety talks in the summer term.
