Clara and Sammy in 6th Class are this year’s joint winners of the ‘Alan Moffitt Memorial Cup’. Linda Moffitt presented Clara and Sammy with the cup at a special school assembly. The winner is someone who exemplifies themselves as a well-rounded, model student.
At this assembly, the Green Schools Committee delivered a presentation about their work on the Travel theme and the Active Schools Committee led a movement break. 5th Class pupils shared about their involvement in the Junior Entrepreneur Programme and Ms. Armstrong showed pupils our Log of Evidence which secured the Curious Minds Gold Award. We also acknowledged good attendance for the month of June and for this school year. The children and the choir sang songs which were beautifully prepared by Heather. This was a wonderful assembly to celebrate the pupils in our school.
