All children from Junior Infants to Sixth Class enjoyed a break from their classrooms to spend time in the school garden. The children planted a variety of salad leaves and herbs in the four raised beds which are located at the back of the school. The south facing garden is in the perfect place to avail of maximum sunlight and shelter. The pupils will be kept busy watering and weeding the plants for the next few weeks. We are all looking forward to a bumper harvest to enjoy for our school picnic.
