Open Evening
15th Nov 2024
On Thursday, 14th November, our school opened its doors to prospective families for a memorable Open Evening. Prospective families enjoyed a tour of the school which offered a glimpse into our vibrant school community.
The evening featured many highlights, including a visit to the Junior Infant classroom, where families explored the engaging resources designed for young learners. Visitors were treated to music performances by our talented pupils, showcasing their skills in percussion and singing. Families also toured our Sensory Room, learning about the supports available for pupils’ individual needs. Representatives from our Active Schools and Green Schools Committees shared their initiatives, demonstrating our commitment to health, well-being, and sustainability. In the classrooms, Fifth Class pupils proudly displayed their creative art and history projects, while Sixth Class pupils presented innovative STEM projects with enthusiasm and confidence. Visitors also had the opportunity to meet the principal and connect with our dedicated Parent Association, whose support is invaluable to our school.
We extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who made the evening a success. Our pupils shone with pride and enthusiasm, our staff worked tirelessly to prepare engaging displays, and our Parent Association provided wonderful support throughout. Thank you to all who attended and contributed to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. We look forward to seeing many of you join our school community soon!
