In Maths Class, First Class began to measure the weight of items using balance scales. We learned that some items are heavier than others, some are lighter than others and, some items weigh the same or are equal. As the classes progress, the pupils will weigh things using non standard units such as blocks. Pupils will then be introduced to kilogrammes.
