Maths week kicked off in Third class on Monday the 13th of October and was celebrated with a variety of activities such as maths trails, IZAK9 cubes and coding using the iPads. The maths trail proved very popular with students and gave the students an opportunity to experience the use of Maths in the real world, while testing their problem solving and estimation skills. Students competed against other schools on the Mangahigh website while completing maths challenges for homework. The IZAK9 maths cubes were an interactive and fun activity to finish off maths week and the students enjoyed working in groups to complete the tasks. Well done to all of third class for their great enthusiasm.
