Third class have been learning about length and capacity in their Maths lessons over the past two weeks. They measured their partners doing the long jump in the hall and used measuring tapes to get an accurate distance. Some students jumped over 2 metres. Super work. The students enjoyed getting active in their Maths lesson. We were all amazed to see our rain gauges recorded over 3cm of rain over the weekend. The students completed a capacity Maths trail in the hall to find different jugs containing a certain amount of water. They were hidden in different locations around the hall to make it difficult. Well done Third class.
