The 5th class pupils were extremely lucky to have the opportunity to explore the Lego Spike Kits which are on loan from the Sligo Education Centre. The children worked in small groups and each child had the chance to try the different roles (builders, engineers and suppliers). They were given the task of building and programming a trash monster machine. The children demonstrated excellent team working skills while creating their very own trash machine. The machines were able to detect different colours and some students even created bins that could talk!
