Library Trip First class enjoyed a visit to the Sligo County Library. The librarian read the children some excerpts from some story books. The pupils explored the children’s section of the library and found many familiar favourites such as Roald Dahl stories, the Dog Man series and the Rainbow Magic Fairy series. We look forward to visiting the library again soon. Autumn Walk First Class pupils had great fun on their Autumn Walk to Doorley Park. They focused on looking out for signs of Autumn which they are covering in their S.E.S.E. lessons. Pupils used their 5 senses to identify different signs of Autumn including falling leaves and lots of autumnal colours. We even saw some swans and ducklings in the Garavogue river!
