First Class embraced the start of Maths Week with great enthusiasm. Using our Maths Eyes, and equipped with clues and directions, our trail brought us through the corridor and outside as we recorded our answers on our clipboards. We consolidated our knowledge of number, shape and space and algebra and discovered that Maths can be found here, there and everywhere! On returning to class we discussed our findings which included the missing numbers from the keypad inside the front door. We learned that three members of staff drive cars which are registered in Leitrim. The pedestrian crossing has seven white stripes and our school was officially opened in 2014. Those in attendance on that memorable June day in 2014 could never have imagined the wonderful First Class that have since arrived.
