Here in Carbury School, we value regular school attendance. On the 26th September, Minister for Education, Norma Foley, launched a campaign designed to promote the importance of attendance at class or school level. This will be rolled out by Tusla Education Support Services (TESS) and the Department of Education and will run throughout the 2023/24 school year.
We understand that there are genuine reasons for pupil absences. Please use the Absence Form to let the school know if your child is absent. This form can be found here on our school website in the section entitled 'For Parents'.
We are promoting the message that 'Every School Day Counts' and hope to develop a school culture that celebrates this.
