The day began with the Teacher vs. Student egg and spoon race. There was great fun and excitement on the yard. Ms Mc Mahon was the overall winner for the senior classes and Kyle in 1st class won the competition for the junior classes of the school.
Every class enjoyed a dance lesson with Mairead.
4th and 6th class had a fantastic time playing Tag Rugby in O’Boyle Park with Patrick and Ken from Sligo Rugby Club. It was great to have parents of students in the school to come and share their skills and knowledge with the pupils. We really appreciate them taking the time to come and make it such a fun afternoon.
Members of the Active Committee continue to share their ‘Drop Everything and Move’ challenges on the intercom for the school at 10am.
Students have been receiving Active Homework on Seesaw everyday this week.
