Pupils in Senior Infants and Third Class were delighted to welcome Archaeologist Marion O’Dowd to their classrooms for an informative and enjoyable talk last week. Marion specialises in investigating how humans have engaged with caves over time. Third Class students have been learning about the Stone Age and completed cave paintings in Art so were very interested to learn about this period.
The pupils enjoyed handling the selection of artefacts that Marion brought and had some interesting
questions for her. A big thank you to Marion for taking the time to speak with the classes.
