As part of Aistear, Junior Infants were learning all about space which they loved. They enjoyed engaging in lots of different stations.
- Role play: the pupils dressed up as astronauts and visited many different planets in their rocket.
- Small World: they played with mini astronauts and planets.
- Art: using paint, paper plates, crepe paper and stars the children made moons. They also painted rockets and used brushes and white paint to create space.
- Playdoh: using playdoh the children made a variety of objects related to space.
- Writing: the pupils wrote sentences related to space in their Aistear copies.
- Construction: using polyhedrons, the pupils built rockets.
