For the month of October Junior Infants were learning about the theme of 'Home' in Aistear.
- Role play: the children had great fun using their imagination in the role play area. They pretended to be different members of a family.
- Playdoh: the children used Playdoh to make different items found in a house.
- Small world: they played with doll houses and toys and designed the houses themselves. They designed the different rooms found in a house.
- Art: the children drew and coloured a house. They made pumpkins using orange crepe paper. Using crepe paper the children made hedgehogs for autumn and traced their hands to make the hedgehog's spikes.
- Construction: using polyhedrons the children built a cafe.
- Cutting: the children learned the story The Three Little Pigs. They cut and finished patterns relating to the story.
