On Wednesday, children from 1st to 5th class picked the salad leaves and herbs from the school garden for our end of year feast. The perfect weather conditions over the last few months led to a very healthy and productive crop. Thank you to Aileen, Margaret, Valerie and Ms Chapman for all their work preparing the ingredients for our sandwiches. The children chose the toppings for their sandwiches and all agreed it was the best lettuce they had ever tasted. We hope this will inspire the children to start their own vegetable garden at home.
