6th Class had the opportunity to visit the GAA Centre of Excellence in Mayo. As part of our participation in Cumann na mBunscol, Carbury National School was chosen as the Sligo School for the day. We had a fantastic day out at this superb indoor facility. Our class was given the chance to play sports and engage in different activities with other pupils from schools from around Connacht.
We would like to sincerely thank the GAA who funded the day out by paying for transport and for the use of the facilities. The coaches on the day took great care of 6th Class and we all enjoyed the day.
