The Green School Committee took part in a walkability audit to assess the health and safety of the area outside the school. This is to ensure that pupils are safe walking to school. The pupils identified both positive and negative health and safety aspects that will be reported to Sligo County Council. Some of the areas that need to be addressed include improved road markings , repair of a broken rail on the pedestrian bridge and repair of loose cobblestones on The Mall.
